On a Sunday at Calvary, you'll see grandparents worshipping a few rows from toddlers, and teenagers serving right alongside people who've followed Jesus for decades. We believe the church is better with every generation in the room.
We're especially passionate about young families and the next generation. That means kids' classes for every age, a place for parents to grow, and a church that's investing in what God wants to do in Tahlequah for years to come.

What are Sundays like?
Every Sunday at 10:30am. Here's what your first visit will look like.
About 90 minutes
Our Sunday service runs about an hour and a half, with worship, a message from the Bible, and time to pray together.
Kids' classes for every age
While you're in service, your kids are learning about Jesus in safe, fun classes built just for their age.
Come as you are
Some people dress up, most keep it casual. Jeans are absolutely welcome. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.
Old and new worship
We sing a blend of timeless hymns and new worship songs, led by a live band.
Arlis & Dottie Moon
Arlis and Dottie both grew up in Tahlequah and actually met here at Calvary. After years of ministry, they came home in 2023 to serve as lead pastors of the church that shaped them.
They love this town, they love the people of Calvary, and they can't wait to meet you.

First time? Here's what to expect.
What happens when I visit for the first time?
Just come and enjoy the service. No one will single you out or ask you to do anything uncomfortable. If you'd like, stop by after the service and say hi. We'd love to meet you.
What about my kids?
We have age-specific classes for kids during the service, where they'll learn about Jesus in a safe, fun environment built just for them.
What should I wear?
Whatever you're comfortable in. You'll see everything from jeans to Sunday best.
How long is the service?
About an hour and a half, starting at 10:30am.
